Super Bowl Betting Matchups - Wager Now Before Sunday’s Big Games

Don’t be fooled, you don’t have to wait until after Sunday’s Conference Championship games to start wagering on the Super Bowl Matchups. At least not in the BetUS Sportsbook, where the odds for every matchup have already released.

Here they are:

- Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (+110): NFL betting fans nationwide are in agreement that the most likely of all Super Bowl Matchups to take place is Packers vs. Steelers. And why not, with each team winning in convincing fashion last Sunday.

For both teams, it seems likely that they can get to the big game. Green Bay comes into this weekend as the proverbial team “no one wants to play,” thanks to last Saturday’s beat down of the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome. Aaron Rodgers had one of the best games of his career, completing an incredible 31 of 36 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh’s defense was the story of their showdown with Baltimore. The Steelers held the Ravens to just 126 yards of total offense.

Remember too, that each of these teams won on Saturday, meaning that they’ll have an extra day to prepare for this Sunday’s games.

- Green Bay Packers vs. New York Jets (+250): Could the J-E-T-S pull another upset this Sunday, after beating Indianapolis and New England in back-to-back road games? Bettors seem to think so, as Packers-Jets is the second-most likely of the Super Bowl XLV Matchups.

And honestly, it’s easy to see this game happening. We’ve already talked about the Packers, but let’s talk about these Jets for a second. Because it was back on December 19 that New York went to Pittsburgh and handed the Steelers their fourth and final loss of the regular season.

Why not make it 2 for 2 in trips to Heinz Field this year? Much stranger things have certainly happened.

- Chicago Bears vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (+250): If you’re a Bears fan, you’ve got to be feeling like the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL season right now. No matter what you do, you just can’t get any respect, especially when it comes to the Super Bowl Odds.

But for Chicago, they may be the team to beat this Sunday. They enter the Conference Championship game well rested, after getting a bye in the opening round of the playoffs, and used last weekend to beat up on the Seattle Seahawks. Remember too, that despite being underdogs heading into this weekend, Chicago will have the home-field advantage, and they’ve already beaten the Packers once at Soldier Field this season.

At +250, this might be the best bet on the board.

- Chicago Bears vs. New York Jets (+500): A Bears-Jets Super Bowl just can’t happen, can it? Bettors seem to think this is the longest of long shots in all possible Super Bowl Matchups at +500. But should it be?

We’re not so sure. As we mentioned, this won’t be the first rodeo for either the Jets or the Bears, as New York has already won in Pittsburgh, and Chicago defended its home turf back in Week 3 against Green Bay. And if these teams do win, watch out. They played one of the most exciting regular season games of the season, with the Bears coming back from a huge deficit in Week 16 to beat the Jets 38-34.

A Chicago-New York encore might be as good as it gets when it comes to the Super Bowl Matchups.
