Many baseball betting fans believed that the Colorado Rockies would threaten the defending World Series champions San Francisco Giants run back to the top, as the Rockies started off the season with the best record in baseball. But after two matchups in Colorado, the Giants have gotten two wins and have proven that they are not to be overlooked yet.
With one game left in the MLB betting series, the Rockies get another chance for a win over the Giants this afternoon.

Game Total: 8.5 runs
After two consecutive wins on the road over the Rockies, the Giants come into Game 3 as the underdog with the game total set at 8.5 runs. The BetUS Sportsbook oddsmakers must still have faith in the Rockies to pull out a win, especially at home.
But the Rockies have not had an answer so far for the stellar Giants pitching, and tonight won’t be much easier, as San Francisco sends Matt Cain to the stripe. Colorado has been outscored 14-4 in their last two outings.

SFG Matt Cain (2-0, 1.42) vs. COL Jorge De La Rosa (2-0, 3.18)
Cain so far is 2-0 with an ERA of 1.42, picking up where he left off at the end of last season’s postseason run. He has only allowed three runs so far this season, a daunting threat for the Rockies offense that has ran into a wall in the series. Cain went 3-0 against Colorado last season, with two wins at Coors Field.
The Rockies send Jorge De La Rosa to the stripe, who has had previous success against San Francisco. In nine starts against the defending World Series champs, De La Rosa is 6-1 with a 2.26 ERA.
In a tight battle for the top of the National League West, I would put my money on the Rockies to pull out a win. The Rockies will have a chance behind De La Rosa to slow down the Giants bats and if the Rockies can put together some runs, the game should go their way.
Despite some struggles against the Giants, the Rockies are still a strong team and I’d expect them to prove that tonight.
